I’m back at school after fall break, and I’ve just finished upgrading my computer to Windows 7 (favorite new feature: desktop background slideshow). The best part of the upgrade: I added a new 500 GB hard drive and 4 GB of RAM. In other words, I can now do just about anything I want on this laptop. Which is good, because it needs to last me until I sell a novel.
I’m getting really excited about my NaNoWriMo novel – I’ve been doing reading over fall break, and I keep thinking of phrases and snatches of dialogue that I’m dying to write. Only five days to go!
