The most wonderful time of the year

Time to start preparing for NaNoWriMo - which includes asking for sponsorships. I promise, I'll only ask once, but:

I believe that National Novel Writing Month serves an incredibly valuable purpose for both writers and people who had previously thought of themselves as non-writers. It gets us writing. It breaks down the task of writing a novel, a seemingly impossible feat, into a crazy fun community enterprise that takes a lot of the stress out of writing.

But NaNoWriMo is a nonprofit, and they can't run without donations. If you can give any amount, please sponsor me and my writing. Don't worry, you get something out of this too:

$5 - minor role in the novel (you, or a person of your choice)
$10 - significant supporting role (you, or a person of your choice)
$15 - reading rights for the novel, as of December 31st (to give me time to edit)

Even better, if I fail to complete the challenge for any reason (barring death in the family or severe injury involving the loss of one or both hands), I will personally repay your donation.

Thanks, and beginning November 1st, check back here for daily updates on the novel writing progress!
