Uh. So it's been two weeks since I last posted. But, in my defense, school is headed straight into that delightful period known as "Hell Week", and I've got a lot of work to get done...
Oh, all right, I've just been doing other things. Sadly, my screenplay was not one of them. Right now, I'm miserably ill, and have been working a bit on a new story between boxes of tissues. Because I don't have enough things to work on. Yeah.
I apologize for the useless nature of this post. Cold meds and all that.

Um...I forgot?
Yeah, I don't really have a good excuse for not posting. Here's a brief survey of what's going on.
I. ScriptFrenzy. I'm 31 pages into my screenplay, which means I'm 20 pages behind going into the crazy work part of school, but I think I can get it done. It's action/adventure and good fun, and I'm certainly enjoying writing it.
II. Registration. Pre-registering for next semester. I'm hoping to take two History 295 classes (European Left 1825-Present and WWII on the Eastern Front), as well as a 300-level English seminar on medieval literary views of Heaven and Hell, and a 300-level fiction writing workshop. Just for a little variety, I plan to register for beginning racquetball too. That schedule will even leave room for me to work three weekly shifts in the Writing Lab, which means I get to keep my terrific job.
III. Other - leisure time has involved watching a lot of Doctor Who with my roommate (the new series with Christopher Eccleston/David Tennant) and reading food and restaurant blogs. Yum. Also, writing poetry for my poetry workshop course (a whole sestina) and political phonebanking, the most soul-sucking volunteer job ever. EVER.

ScriptFrenzy
Woo! Seventeen pages written, and I'm really getting into this story. Very fun.
In totally unrelated news, season finale of Torchwood AND season premiere of Battlestar Galactica tomorrow night. Of course, I won't be able to watch either of them, but still!
