Well, I'm back from Argentina and ready to keep working on my writing.
Lately, I've been trying out a new technique - writing letters to my characters. It was recommended somewhere, and it's worked very well for me. I write a letter to each of my two main characters every morning, talking about what I want to know about them, and over the course of the day I'm usually able to write a piece that answers my questions.
Of course, I'm still putting off some major rewrites. But the way I see it, the more I know about my characters, the better I'll be able to write them. Therefore this is productive. And anyway, it's very fun.
In other news, I managed to burn my hand on a hot pan, which is impacting my typing speed somewhat.
